The Holy Spirit is THE Comforter, not you!

Dear spiritual leader,

In bringing succor to troubled minds seeking answers in the midst of tragedy/turmoil, always remember the Holy Spirit is the Comforter. Not you.

Too many fall into the temptation of offering biblically unsound platitudes, in a bid to soothe their flock.

Trust God to do the work He said He’ll do. Speak the word of truth with diligence, and leave His Spirit to bring life to those words in a way He only can do.

You can’t love people more than God loves them. Don’t distort His words to offer false hope or fit a false perception
