"What God cannot do, does not exist"

"What God cannot do, does not exist"

I know it's a favorite phrase, and I hate to be the one to burst the bubble. But that statement is incorrect.

God has a Personality, and personalities are exclusive. By His nature and attributes, there are things He cannot do.

The principle behind these statements unintentionally reduces God into a genie that can morph to meet any desire and any need. But that's not how He operates. And many that call on Him on this basis will be disappointed. Because He is True and will not answer a name or attribute that is not His.

The number of people turning to atheism because of disappointments encountered by calling on a false attribute of God are too many to let half-truth statements like the one above slide. God not only has a distinct Personality, but He is also Sovereign. That means He has His own plans and agenda. And He won't alter them to match yours just because you declare these statements loudly and continuously.

As a Christian, if you want to get your prayers and testimonies through, ensure they are aligned with His. Key into what He is doing, instead of trying to bend Him into what you are doing.
