Legalism, License and Liberty
The life in Christ is a life of balance.
Christ gives us the law of Liberty - which simply put, means we have been made free, to live the life God has called us to live.
The unbalanced doctrine of License preaches that Christ's sacrifice is a ticket to do exactly what we want without the burden of guilt or punishment, after all, "Jesus paid it all!".
The other end of the coin, an equally unbalanced doctrine of Legalism, tells us Christ's sacrifice is not sufficient for our salvation - that we must add on our 'good works'.
License says "Go".

License says "Go".
Legalism says "Sin no more".
But the perfect law of Liberty in Christ says "Go and sin no more", letting us know that we have been made free from sin - to live a life of righteousness in Him.
