"Thou shalt not judge?"
"Please I'm not judging you"
"This is a no-judgment zone"
"You can't judge her for her decision"We hear these phrases all the time. People using the words 'judge/judging/judgment' with a negative connotation. But the reality is: there's absolutely nothing wrong with judging.
Judging is what you do when you select the solid textile in the market stall instead of the tattered one.
Judging is what you do when you choose to eat the good orange from the basket, instead of the rotting one.
Judging is what you do when you decide to leave abusive relationships and instead select healthy relationships.
To lead a quality life, you need to know how to make good judgments.

Judging is about making the distinction between good and bad. Between right and wrong.
What people wrongly refer to as judging is condemning. Judging is expressing your assessment of what is right and what is wrong. Condemnation is doing so with an air of superiority or condescension over those whose assessments are different from yours. But these are two different things and should not be lumped up.
So let's replace the negative usage of judging with 'condemning'. Because we need good judgment now more than ever in our world today.
